Advocacy

Education funding and legislative decisions made in Lansing and in our nation's Capitol impact our local school district, and as a locally elected school board trustee, I use my voice to advocate for a long-term commitment to improving and prioritizing education through policy and budget decisions.
Regardless of party affiliation, I have advocated with our elected officials for education reform locally, regionally, and nationally; in my work with Rochester PTA Council and district parents as their Legislative Chair,  organizing parents to advocate in Lansing through the Michigan PTA and, finally, by traveling to Washington, D.C., as your local school board trustee. I will always use my elected voice to advocate for our students in Rochester Community Schools.

Join us in making a difference for the future of Rochester Community Schools!
